New Dentures
Our custom dentures restore function and beauty.
A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. Two types of dentures are available – complete and partial dentures. Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing, while partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain.
Our onsite Dental prosthetist can assess, manage, treat and manufacture dentures to suit individual needs.
Enjoy pain-free eating and a natural look with the right dentures for you.
Relining Loose Dentures
If your dentures feel loose or uncomfortable, it may be time for a denture reline.
This involves adding material to the fitting surface of the denture to improve its fit and reduce the gaps. The denture reline helps your denture fit securely against your gums.
Relining restores a snug fit for improved comfort and confident eating.
Denture Repairs
Don’t replace your dentures entirely! Both full and Partial dentures can often be repaired. Broken dentures can often be restored to like-new condition with a repair.
The teeth and the gum portion of partial dentures are made from denture acrylic.
The clasps/clips are made from metal. If a tooth chips, the acrylic gum material cracks or breaks, or a metal clasp breaks, usually it can be repaired within a single day and keep your smile whole.
Night Guards
A night guard is a protective device for your mouth that covers your teeth and gums. Wearing a nightguard while you sleep can help ease your pain and protect your teeth from damage done by grinding and clenching.
You might be recommended to use a nightguard if you are suffering from a condition known as bruxism. Bruxism causes you to grind your teeth or clench your jaw, typically when you are sleeping, although it can happen unconsciously to some people while they are awake and under stress.
Over time grinding can wear down tooth enamel, leading to cracks, chips and increased sensitivity. The main aim of a nightguard is to separate your top and bottom teeth so they don’t damage each other from the pressure of grinding or clenching.
Anti-snoring Devices
Enjoy more restful nights for you and your partner!
Dental anti-snoring devices are custom made by a dental professional to fit the patients mouth and teeth and are typically made from a comfortable flexible material that is easy to wear.
These devices are worn at night and are designed to help prevent snoring by repositioning the jaw and tongue to open up the air way improving sleep quality.
If you are considering an anti-snoring device, please consult our health professionals to see if this an adequate option for yourself. We will help you to find a comfortable solution for peaceful nights.
